Who should attend?
This course is designed for people who work in customers premises within a telecommunications environment.
Aim
This course covers the legislation, hazards, risk assessments and safe systems of work involved with working within a customer’s premises installing a range of fibre termination equipment.
Objective
- Know relevant health and safety legislation and industry good practice when working on site.
- Know how to implement safe site working practices when working to connect fibre cables in or to single
and multi-occupancy dwellings including buildings. - Know how to carry out installation of customer optical fibre connection to a single and multi-occupancy
dwelling including buildings. - Be able to carry out installation of customer optical fibre connection to a single and multi-occupancy
dwelling including buildings.
Pre-Requisites
This accreditation is available to anyone over the age of 16 who is capable of reaching the required standard.

Accreditation
