Corporate Social Responsibility

ITS is a company that believes in giving back to the communities in which it operates. As part of our corporate social responsibility efforts, we are committed to supporting community groups, projects, and charities that we are passionate about in Portadown, Northern Ireland and all surrounding areas. Our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of those in our local communities and beyond.

One of the ways we support the community is through donations and funding for community projects. We believe in empowering local organizations and initiatives to make a difference in their communities. Whether it’s supporting a local food bank, a youth sports team, or an environmental initiative, ITS is dedicated to helping those in need.

In addition to financial support, ITS also encourages its employees to volunteer their time and expertise. Our employees are passionate about giving back and have a strong sense of community spirit. Whether it’s through organized volunteer days or individual initiatives, our employees are always eager to lend a hand to those in need. This type of community engagement not only benefits the community but also helps to build a stronger, more connected ITS family.

As a company, we understand that our Social Responsibility  goes beyond the local community and we are also committed to working towards a 0% carbon footprint for a better future. We understand the impact that our operations can have on the environment and are committed to reducing our carbon emissions and promoting sustainability. We invest in renewable energy sources, implement eco-friendly practices in our daily operations, and educate our employees on the importance of sustainability.

HOSPICE

Our coffee morning took place on Friday 16th September and was the result of a challenge by Southern Area hospice to turn £50 into as much as we could to raise vital money for the hospice service.

This organisation is close to the hearts of many of our staff, with many families having had personal experience of their support services and no one knowing when they themselves will need to call on the hospice for assistance, we raised over £600!

CRAIGAVON FOOD BANK

Last year, our amazing staff, associate trainers and their families provided 146kg worth of food to Craigavon Area Foodbank. We felt this was an important social responsibility for the company as we could see the effects locally of how people were being effected. 146kg amounted to 469 meals, alongside donations which came to £220 worth of meat vouchers. We are beyond pleased to be able to collect for such a worthy cause, especially to help those in need that are in such close proximity to us.
