What does the course entail?

PASMA course in action

The PASMA Mobile Access Towers training course (Towers for users) is one of many Working At Height courses offered at Industry Training Services. The overall aim of the course is to ensure attendees know how to securely assemble, disassemble, relocate, and modify a mobile access tower using authorised build techniques, with little risk of potential danger to the delegate or others.

The PASMA course is one day long and involves a classroom-based tutorial & written assessment at the Industry Training Services’ (ITS) training centre in Portadown. Furthermore, in the afternoon there is practical training and a practical assessment. The written assessment and its requirements will be discussed before you attempt it and consists of a multiple-choice question paper with all points covered during the training module. The pass mark is 80%.

The cost of the PASMA Towers for Users course at ITS is £120+VAT.

*It is advised that those attending a PASMA training course at ITS have completed a basic Working at Heights Awareness training course as this is not covered in depth in the PASMA training course.*

Who can/should attend the PASMA training course?

It is advised that Individuals who oversee the assembling, disassembling, modifying, relocating, and inspecting mobile access towers complete the PASMA Towers for Users course.

At ITS, we provide the PASMA Towers for Users course at our centre in Portadown, however, we can also provide the training onsite throughout Ireland if the correct facilities and equipment are provided.

What is the reward for completing the course?

Successful delegates will be awarded a PASMA PhotoCard and Certificate with a 5-year validity term after completing the theory and practical sections. Your PASMA card is proof that you’ve received training and are competent to work with scaffold towers. If it’s about to expire, you must renew your training before the expiry date shown on your card. This means that you need to attend another PASMA training course.
