Who should attend?
Suitable for utility workers, electrical technicians, lineworkers, telecom technicians, construction workers, and emergency response teams, as well as anyone working at heights or near electrical poles.
Course Aim:
Provide learners with the necessary knowledge to safely conduct rescue operations using pole climbing and Mobile Elevating Platforms (MEWPs). This accreditation ensures individuals understand the correct equipment and methods required for this task.
Learning Outcomes:
- • Understand relevant health and safety legislation and industry good practices related to this task.
• Understand how to formulate a plan for the aerial rescue operation.
• Be able to carry out the aerial rescue safely.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course candidates will receive a Smart Awards Certificate which is valid for 3 years.
