Q025 (FCFW1) – Frame Cover Renewal

Who should attend?

The target audience for this accreditation is anyone working on the Openreach network including Contract Partners.

Pre-Requisites:

• Mandatory Safety Accreditation: SA006 – Safe Working in Civils
• Mandatory NRSWA Qualification: SWQR Unit LA, Unit O1, Unit O2, Unit O3

Course Aim:

This module checks the delegate’s understanding & ability to complete frame and cover renewal in the footway of cover no 2, 4, 6, 110, 111, using current working practices and quality standards.

Learning Outcomes:

• Preparation and excavation around frame and cover.
• Removal of old frame and cover.
• Installation of new frame and cover.
• Backfilling and reinstatement around frame and cover.

Certification:

Delegates successfully completing the course will be awarded an Openreach approved ITS Certificate detailing Q025 – Frame and Cover Footway. This accreditation lasts for 3 years.
