Q013 (BB1M) – Box Build modular

Who should attend:

The module target audience are engineers working on the Openreach network including Contract Partners.

Pre-Requisites:

• Mandatory Safety Accreditation: SA006 – Safe Working in Civils
• Mandatory NRSWA Qualification: SWQR Unit LA, Unit O1, Unit O2, Unit O3

Course Aim:

This assessment will test the delegate’s knowledge of building modular jointing chambers. This module covers the excavation, base preparation, installation of the modular rings, ironwork and duct entries.

Learning Outcomes:

• Excavation and preparation of the opening
• Installation of modular chamber rings
• Fitting of ironwork
• Installation of the frame & cover

Assessment Method:

This module consists of two parts, a questionnaire and a practical session.

Accreditation:

Delegates successfully completing the course will be awarded an Openreach approved ITS Certificate detailing Q013 – Box Building (Modular). This accreditation lasts for 3 years.
