IPAF MEWPs for Managers (E-Learning)

Who should attend? 

MEWPs for Managers is aimed at those who plan, supervise or manage work at height with Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). Such as employers, project managers, foremen and supervisors working in a broad range of industries such as construction, facilities management, retail, airports and arboriculture. 

Course Aim: 

This course aims to inform companies that use MEWPs to know what their management and legal responsibilities are and how to ensure the most effective use of MEWPs. 

Learning Outcomes: 

This course covers what managers need to know for safe and effective use of MEWPs on site, including planning the job, conducting a risk assessment, selecting the right equipment for optimum cost-efficiency, and mitigating all possible risks. 

Assessment Method: 

The course is theory-based only and incorporates an exam. 

Accreditation:

Successful candidates will receive the MEWP for managers qualification, and an IPAF Certificate of Training. These will both be accessible via the IPAF ePAL app and will be valid for 5 years.
