Who Should Attend?
This supervisor course is designed to give construction site supervisors an understanding of their roles and responsibilities within Health and Safety to ensure a safe site.
Pre-Requisites:
An NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Supervision (or enrolment in) is a prerequisite for attending this course.
Course Aim:
The course aims to provide a fundamental understanding of supervising health and safety within a construction environment. It is a valuable training course for construction firms who wish to develop the competency of those they assign supervisory responsibilities.

Training/Assessment Method:
The course consists of 4 days classroom based training run one day per week over four weeks followed by an occupational assessment and computer test.
Accreditation:
The Site Safety Supervisor card lasts for 4 years. You can renew your card by completing a 1-Day Site Safety Supervisor Update course. This must be completed within 6 months of the card’s expiry date.
Additional Information:
The Construction Skills Register is a register of construction workers who have completed the industry approved CSR Health and Safety training course and assessment.
To achieve a Gold Supervisor CSR Card candidates must successfully complete the 4 days CSR site safety for supervisor training; a NVQ Level 4 in construction site supervision & a CITB health, safety & environment test for specialist supervisors which is a 50 minute computer based test.
