CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher

Who should attend?

This course is for anyone who has previously completed the four-day CSR Site Safety for Supervisors course and needs to renew their card before it expires

Pre-Requisites:

Candidates must already hold a valid SMSTS Certificate that has not expired. Candidates must also ensure to bring photographic ID. Applicants are required to hold an NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision* to be issued a card for the full 4 years.

Course Aim:

This is a one-day course for supervisors and managers that need to renew their Supervisors CSR Card.

Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to help delegates to improve their awareness of recent developments in construction, legislation and health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.

• Be aware of, and able to implement all updated health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation which affects them in their role as a supervisor
• Be aware of and able to implement new guidance and industry best practice affected by changes
• Be more aware of their duties and responsibilities with regard to health, safety, welfare and the environment.

Assessment Method:

• Continuous assessment
• You need to attend all 7.5 hours
• Multiple-choice test.

Accreditation:

• CITB renewable 5-year Site Safety Plus certificate.

You must renew this qualification every five years by attending the SSSTS Refresher course. You need to do this before your certificate expires or you will need to take the full SSSTS course again.
