Aims & Objectives of the Re-Assessment
This course will provide the essential reassessment that is now mandatory when renewing a Street Works qualification after 5 years. The overall aim is to improve the standard of workers on the highway for those working in Scotland and England.
When should I book my Re-assessment?
The timeframe for booking and completing your re-assessment course is 6 months prior to the expiry of your registered card, right up to 6 months after the expiration date. If you do not complete this re-assessment prior to 6 months after your card has expired, you will then be required to complete the full course again.
Course Overview
The reassessment will use knowledge-based multiple-choice tests, that correspond with previously held assessments (agreed by HAUC UK). Each individual reassessment will:
- Consist of 10 multiple choice questions
- Have an allocated completion time of 30mins
- Have a pass mark of 80%
*Prior to the testing day, candidates are required to present a copy of their SWQR Card.*
Who is affected?
Holders of SWQR cards working in England/Scotland are required to successfully complete their reassessment for each of the units they previously passed before they can re-register and continue to carry out street works.
