Scone Sale Success! The ITS Team raise over £150 for PIPS Upper Bann for Mental Health Awareness Week

For #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek last week we sold fresh scones to the clients attending courses across the centre, raising over £150 for our selected charity PIPS Upper Bann. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff and clients that contributed, your kind donations are greatly appreciated, and will help provide the necessary services for those affected by suicide and self-harm.

PIPS Upper Bann is a suicide prevention charity that offers telephone support, and 1-1 support at their facility in Lurgan, which are solely reliant on donations to fund their imperative work. Mental health problems and suicide are issues that affect the construction industry gravely, as construction has the highest suicide rate of all industries, at 53.2 suicides per 100,000 workers (according to the Centers for Disease Control).
